Body image – for boys (girls, please listen, too)

I was sent this phenomenal free resource from MediaSmart for educating boys and young men about problems with body image. With today’s obsession about how we look – which women and girls are used to but still damaged by but which has become a much bigger thing than it used to be for boys and men – we need to talk about this. Urgently.

I recommend you show the film to any secondary school aged boys (or girls) you know, whether in your family or school. It’s really eye-opening, sensible, informative and inspiring. There are free guidelines for parents and teachers about how to have a discussion about it.

Congratulations to Media Smart for coming up with these powerful resources.
