Visit to China

(I know this is not China – ! – but a trip to Malaysia a couple of years ago, also via Dubai. Dubai airport is not my favourite place to spend a few hours but I’m travelling in comfort so not complaining.)

I’m excited to be visiting China next week to work in Dulwich College and Soong Ching Ling School, both in Shanghai. I’ll speak to all year groups from Y7 to Y12, as well as to staff, to the senior leadership team and to parents and the wider community at Dulwich.

As always, I have sent the schools a mass of handouts and materials, some for printing and others for sharing. I linked a few key ones below.

My Powerpoint presentations will be on my slideshare page here but not till after the talks, as I tend to make last minute changes. Please note that I usually only leave them up for a few weeks, as I need my permanent resource files to be easily visible. But you can always download them to read later.

Thanks to these schools for inviting me and to Authors Aloud for organising the trip. I’ve never been to mainland China before and I’m really looking forward to it. (Now that I’ve completed the ordeal involved in getting a visa…) I’ll be working hard with no time for sight-seeing but I hope to soak up some atmosphere. Photos later!
